Just arrived in our yard a few moments ago is the centre pole of the Worlds only surviving Razzle Dazzle which is sited at Hollycombe Steam Museum. The ride is currently out of commission for maintenance.
Built by the Howcroft Carriage & Wagon Works around 1908, the Razzle Dazzle is regarded as the world's first 'white knuckle' ride. It is the earliest ride to use both rotational and tilting motion and it was from this that many of the modern rides were developed. Hollycombe's Razzle Dazzle is the world's only surviving example.
